Deal Announcement: Tura advises Tangent on its sale to Exadel
LONDON, 19th May 2026
Tangent, a UK-based digital transformation agency, has been acquired by Exadel, a US private equity-backed digital engineering firm, in a transaction advised by Tura Advisory.
Under the ownership of Theo and Oli Green - the brothers behind Brave Bison - Tangent built a strong reputation for strategic consulting-led capability, combining high-quality delivery with proprietary frameworks and deep expertise in digital transformation. Following the appointment of Leigh Gammons as CEO, the business developed a specialist AI-first capability and built a team with the skills to deliver on it, attracting strong interest from strategic acquirers.
Exadel is a global digital engineering firm backed by Sun Capital, specialising in building enterprise platforms and delivering digital transformation for clients across the US and Europe. The acquisition strengthens Exadel's European footprint and adds front-end consulting and strategic design capability to its offering.
"Companies are demanding more than great digital experiences. They need to provide experiences that can constantly evolve and drive measurable outcomes. With Exadel’s AI and engineering depth and prowess, we can deliver on those expectations at scale."
— Leigh Gammons, CEO, Tangent
"Brands increasingly win or lose based on the AI-driven digital experiences that they provide to customers, and user expectations are evolving at lightning speed. By bringing Tangent into the organization, we are fortifying our ability to help global clients not only design exceptional experiences, but continuously optimize and scale them through AI."
— Jamie Dalziel, COO, Exadel
Tura Advisory acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Tangent throughout this process.
"Tura were instrumental in delivering an excellent outcome for us. Bruce and the team combined strong commercial advice with deep knowledge of the sector and a clear understanding of the relevant buyer landscape.
Their relationships and access within the ecosystem helped create competitive options and position the business effectively with the right counterparties. They ran a highly effective process, secured a strong valuation with significant upfront consideration and meaningful future upside, and were a trusted adviser throughout.
We would be very happy to recommend them to other founders considering a transaction."
— Owners Theo Green and Oli Green, and Leigh Gammons, CEO, Tangent
The deal reflects a broader shift in the market for digital services businesses. As AI continues to reshape how transformation services are delivered, acquirers are increasingly focused on businesses that combine strategic consulting capability with credible AI-first positioning and the teams to deliver on it. Tangent's sale to Exadel demonstrates that in a rapidly changing sector, businesses with differentiated capability and strong leadership can attract compelling strategic interest.
